Pugu station is an administrative boundary of Ilala district of Dar es salaam region Tanzania. This is the new administrative ward and it was formerly part of Pugu ward so there is no official data on its population. The ward consists of three subwards which are Pugu Station, Bangulo, and Kichangani.
Similar to Pugu, the ward is located the upper catchment of Msimazi river, making it susceptible to flooding. Ramani Huria team sat with the community members of Pugu ward to identify important assets in the ward and the flood risks associated so they can have enough data when planning for disaster management in the ward.
